Two for one Friday!

Well, my folks are down in El Paso to pick up Mom's black boat, but they left me in school for the day! However, it was not a waste, as I was able to bring a small book that has 500 pictures of sailboats to school to show off to my friends. They loved it, and a few expressed interest in seeing an actual sailboat here in te middle of New Mexico.

Interesting! I just found an Internet radio site called Pandora. It is a customizable internet radio station that is free to join and listen to. You start by telling pandor the name of a song or artist that you like and they will play songs that they think you will like. Their player is interactive so that you can tell them if you like or dislike a song, or even add other songs that you like to the station. This lets you get a mix of whatever you like. Try Frank and Johny for something old and different.

For the consistent visitors...

I just looked at who has visited over the past month and saw a couple visitors who cohse to come again. I have a audiance and I havent even updated for them! Another odd visitor came frome google translator; he or she translated my page to Arabic (probably the visitor from Syria).
I have been spending lots of time sailing, including a trip to Dillon in CO (see photo), and lots of sailing at Heron and Elephant Butte Lake, despite living in the middle of the dessert.
As for school, I have been learning quite a lot in German III, although it would be great if the school offerd Czech.

My results

You scored as James Bond, Agent 007. James Bond is MI6's best agent, a suave, sophisticated super spy with charm, cunning, and a license's to kill. He doesn't care about rules or regulations and somewhat amoral. He does care about saving humanity though, as well as the beautiful women who fill his world. Bond has expensive tastes, a wide knowledge of many subjects, and his usually armed with a clever gadget and an appropriate one-liner.

Miami String Quartet

Today (the 22) I went to Los Alamos for the Miami String Quartet.  I left after hearing an astonishing set of three quartets by Beethoven, Schumann and Mozart. The adagio from the Schumann was astounding. These were all influenced by Hayden, and the encore that they played was a movement from a Hayden Quartet.
